Bring Jackson in. Be brilliant to let him savour the Millenium Magic! Wales will win but we need to target Italy, Ireland and England now. So Jackson gets a chance IMO

i was actually being serious at the time but i wrote that about 20 minutes in. upon which the match descended into tripe for the the last hour. just as bad if not worse than anything yesterday.

i'm a bit more positive about our trip to paris next week now. i know they'll be a different prospect at home but if we can cope with that scrum, i reckon our attack can make mincemeat out of that ridiculous defence.

Next week could be the match of the series with both sides seemingly willing to at least not try to resort to antirugby & with a match under their belt.
Ireland, with all their domination will be disapointed they didn't put Italy away by more, they definitely put themselves into the position to thump the boring bastards. If they can beat France & England they'll win the comp, I cant see Wales providing anything to rattle the Mickers.

I was half-joking hehe.

But it is a bit puzzling why Parks wasn't included at all.

Parks was only in the squad because he outplayed Godman in the 2 x1872 games.AR had no intention of picking him although his boot may have been useful yesterday.Godman at the minute is a car crash.

We seem to have a fear of chucking young blokes in.In the Southern hemisphere they don't.Go for Jackson for Saturday and see if he sinks or swims.Othrwise we will be waiting till the Autumn Internationals next year and potentially find out then he is not good enough.

We,too, have trouble blooding youngsters and hang on til Gareth Thomas/Stephen Jones-types fall off their perch.Biggar is threatening but barring cardiac arrest will fail to get a sniff until the Autumn games. We need these youngsters exposed to pressure games prior to the WC to see how they go.Easier for your lot as your preferred 10 is pants whist SJ is stil class

Taff, the problem seems to be we are worried that these young guys may fail.
Instead perhaps of being worried they might succeed !

Dan Biggar,Jackson, Rory Hutton at Edinburgh.
It sounds harsh, but they are Pro Rugby players.
If they flop at International level then so be it. Give them a run of a few games and see what happens.

Certainly the Aussies would do it.
The 6 Nations is always and will always be the greatest tournament in the World of rugby.
Not the greatest quality tournament in the world but the best because of the Social Occasion, Rivalry, weekends away etc etc.
(Zinny eat your heart out !)

I fully agree with that, proximity of the opposition, the awesome stadiums & diversity of opponents gives it another dimension.
The TNs however has far greater intensity, brutality & is basically a showdown between the 3 greatest test rugby teams on the planet & IMO the rivalry between the TNs sides is far greater. In SA, if Im wearing a black jersey in the cheap seats at say Loftus, I am copping it like you wouldnt believe!

I guess for us it's all about the rugby, we're more hardcore about the physical footy being played, we over analyse, over criticize & probably take the game itself too seriously, you fellas just do the whole "fan thing" better.
